Janet Eastman Professional Certified Coach

Janet has 30 years of experience working with individuals and groups within organizations to enhance their overall effectiveness and performance. She is known for her creative approaches to complex organizational situations and her strong facilitation skills that achieve the desired goals. Janet specializes in team development processes working with new and struggling teams as well as has designed and led targeted strategy sessions that have high impact on organizational success and productivity.

Janet’s career started in Human Resources. She has years of experience in assessing learning needs and designing and delivering learning and development programs that are engaging, performance-based, and tied to an organization’s business initiatives. This continues to be a cornerstone of her work, designing both classroom and e-training programs.

Deeply believing in the human capacity to change and the desire to learn and grow, Janet advanced her coaching skills and gained her certification as an International Coach Federation coach at the Professional Certified Coach level (PCC). Her high impact coaching has made the difference in performances and satisfaction for many people. Janet sees coaching as a very intimate personal relationship and a highly targeted learning experience that gives people a safe place to explore their deepest desires, fears and abilities in order to create the success they want for themselves and their organizations.

Janet has an undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Maine and a M.S.W. from Boston University. She holds a certificate in Organizational Development from NTL and the Gestalt Institute of Cleveland. Janet has taught at Antioch New England Graduate School and at the Maine Gestalt Institute. She is a certified trainer in the Myers-Briggs Type and is licensed to administer the following assessments: Leadership Effective Analysis™, Leadership Circle™, Emotional Intelligence (ESCI), Team Management Systems and Effective Intelligence.
