Eleanor
has over twenty-five years of experience as a manager, sales and marketing
professional and designer of learning and development. Recognized for
her innovative approach to solving complex human performance needs, her
portfolio of skills is vast and diverse. In addition to creating and
implementing human performance solutions, she is valued for providing
the strategic communications that surround developmental and change initiatives.
A skilled communicator, Eleanor inspires people to change, grow and
excel. She has worked with individuals and groups in the development
of their leadership practices and career aspirations using assessment,
feedback, coaching and practical business tools. In addition to her
consulting practice, she is a development partner and thought leader
for several web-based enterprises, bringing her years of experience
in management and leadership to the web.
Prior to the formation of Eastman & Guare, Eleanor was
a senior consultant for an assessment-driven human resources consulting
firm, where she managed several learning and development programs
including a global sales development effort for a F100 company.
In her prior experience within high technology corporations such as
Motorola and Digital Equipment Corporation, Eleanor served as the
Manager of Organizational Development and Performance and Sales Training
Manager. She created and led an educational consulting group and was
the driving force behind a corporate-wide systems approach to managing
human performance.
Eleanor’s successful sales and marketing career formed the foundation
of her success. Her business orientation and interpersonal abilities
are paramount in delivering solutions that support strategic initiatives,
empower people and positively influence the bottom line.
Eleanor holds a B.S. in Psychology from the University of Massachusetts.
She is licensed in numerous diagnostic tools including those associated
with Emotional Intelligence, Leadership Effectiveness, Behavioral
Style, Personal Directions and Strategic Sales Performance.
